I didn't like this case when I used it first-- looked too neat, not rugged. After a couple of coats of saddle soap it began to look more like well worn leather. After a few months, appearance only improved.

The case won't offer much protection from drops but offers good screen protection. I carry it in my front jeans pocket and it isn't too bulky. It is easy to remove the iphone from if you need to. I am also able to plug in headphones, charging cord and hook it up to a docking station without removing the case. Good direct access to buttons. It took a bit of getting used to opening it for use as the hinge is on the bottom opposite of a flip phone but this is due to button and speaker placement on the phone and after some time, opening/closing becomes habit. The only drawback to this setup is that the cover needs to be open to insert the charge cord. Overall a stylish case. Texas!
